Ambrose McKinnery brings a wealth of experience, training and expertise to Level One Psychology. Ambrose is both a Registered Psychologist and Qualified Counsellor. He has also completed further training in Accelerated Change and Learning Applications (Inspiritive), and in Coaching (Australian Institute of Executive Coaching).
Ambrose works across a broad range of issues including, but not limited to: Depression, Anxiety, Pain Management, OCD, Stress, Frustration & Anger Management, PTSD & other Trauma-based issues, Grief & Loss, Sleeping Difficulties, Confidence & Self-Esteem, Social & Communication skills, Drug and alcohol/Addictions, Work Related Issues & Career Management, Elder Care Issues, Relationship & Couples Counselling.
Ambrose is the principal contractor to Selangor and Noosa hospitals, where he works on the wards and with rehab/pain management groups.
Due to possessing strong background and experience in organisational psychology, Ambrose has a rich understanding of people issues in the workplace, as well as career issues. He has worked closely with both employees and with management to Senior & GM level.
Ambrose possesses a range of Rapid Change Techniques to help people deal with, manage and overcome issues affecting them. He also has a keen interest in Relationship / Couples Counselling and has helped many hundreds of couples solve issues and find new ways of re-connecting or making decisions to help with separation.

Ambrose is a psychologist with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling. He has some 15 years of experience working in the area of psychological health and wellbeing as well as organisational psychology. He is registered provider for DVA and WorkCover QLD.
