What is Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)?

Online assessment with the MIGDAS-2
The MIGDAS-2 is a structured, sensory-based diagnostic interview for children, adolescents and adults. It is built around a relaxed conversation that draws on the person's own interests and sensory experiences. Many people find it more natural and less stressful than a traditional testing format. The clinician gathers information about communication, social interaction, sensory preferences and interests. This is combined with input from parents, carers or teachers to build a detailed picture of the individual.
Because the MIGDAS-2 can be delivered via telehealth, we can now offer online autism assessments. This can be a good option for:

those with travel, mobility or scheduling barriers
Online assessment is not the right fit for everyone. At intake, your clinician will discuss whether an online, in-person or combined assessment best suits your situation. In some cases we may recommend an in-person component, such as the ADOS-2, to make sure the diagnosis is accurate and complete.
Additional assessments
Where needed, we also use the Adaptive Behaviour Assessment System (ABAS-3) and the Sensory Processing Measure (SPM-2) to give a fuller picture of day-to-day functioning and sensory needs. Together, these tools support a thorough, individualised evaluation, an accurate diagnosis and practical, tailored recommendations.
