Casie Lamberton   **NEW TO THE TEAM**

We are excited to welcome our new psychologist, Casie Lamberton, to the Level One Psychology team! Casie will be commencing with us in the late February and will work across both clinic locations. 

​

As a dedicated and compassionate registered psychologist, Casie brings a wealth of experience in providing psychological support across the lifespan. Her passion lies in fostering positive mental health and empowering individuals to navigate life’s challenges with resilience.

​

With an extensive background in psychology, Casie has a special interest in working with diverse populations, including individuals with, but not limited to:

 

• Neurodevelopmental disorders

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

• Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

• Anxiety disorders

• Depression

• Stress

• Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

• Bipolar disorder

• Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)

• Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)

• Panic disorder

• Other common life challenges

   

Casie's experience extends to working with individuals managing schizophrenia, offering tailored interventions and support.

 

Casie is committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can openly express their thoughts and feelings. By empowering evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, Casie tailors her approach to suit the needs of each individual.

 

Casie's main goal in therapy is to collaboratively work towards enhancing emotional well-being and the achievement of personal growth. She utilises comprehensive and complex assessments in her practice to gain a deep understanding of her clients' unique strengths and challenges. These assessments inform personalised intervention strategies, ensuring a targeted and effective approach to mental health support. 

 

Casie works at Caloundra on Thursdays and Sippy Downs on Fridays.

Qualifications:

 

Casie completed her psychology degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast -  BSocSc(Psych)(Hons). She holds general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Association (MAPS).
